Law 7/1995 of 6 April on the Regulation of Tourism in the Canary Islands makes provision, within the types of tourist accommodation, for rural tourism establishments (Article 32.1.f), organisation and regulation of which the Decree 18/1998 of 5 March is object.
The technical organization of the letting of the properties offered on this Web site has been carried out by S.I.S. s.l. under the trademark RentHouseTenerife.com, with head office in Calle Lanzarote, 103, 38632, Arona, Tenerife and C.I.F. (Fiscal Identification Code) 43797374s
The price of the accommodations will be per night of occupation. The costs of water, electricity, gas, sheets and towels are included in the price. The minimum number of nights is indicated in the file for each house appearing on the web.
At the time of making the reservation the client must deposit 50% of the amount of the requested rental; the reservation will not be considered as firm until the said deposit has been made. The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival at the property, directly to the owner. If not, the organisation will consider the reservation to be cancelled.
In accordance with Article 17.2 of Decree 18/1998 of 5 March, the right to occupy the accommodation will begin, unless agreed to the contrary, at 17:00 hours on the first day of the period contracted and will end at 12:00 hours on the day set as the departure date. In all cases the client must notify the arrival time on the island, as well as his departure time, in order to avoid unnecessary inconvenience or waiting time to the key-holder.
The access and use of the property is only permitted for the total number of people stated in the booking confirmation. If the client wishes to change this condition, it is necessary to change the booking confirmation accordingly, which may entail a change in the total rate.
All clients, without exception, must have their respective personal and family documents in order, either their National Identity Card or passport, in accordance with the nationality of the visitor.
In the case of force majeure, caused by circumstances beyond the control of the organisation, RentHouseTenerife.com reserves the right to substitute the reserved property for another alternative of similar characteristics and location. In the case the client does not accept the alternative offered, the organisation will refund the client the paid amounts.
In any case, the client may relinquish the requested and contracted services, whilst RentHouseTenerife.com reserves the right to charge as a compensation:
- 100% of the prepaid amount for the reservation, when the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the arrival date.
- 50% of the prepaid amount for the reservation, when the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the arrival date.
9. FAULTS OR DEFECTS
Any faults and/or defects that the client may find in the rented property must be communicated directly to the owner, as soon as possible and always during the stay, for immediate solution.
10. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORGANISATION
RentHouseTenerife.com is responsible for the correct information regarding the property offered, as well as the precise location of the property.
11. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT
The client is responsible for leaving the property in the same state of good repair in which it was found, and will be held responsible for all damages and losses caused by him. Likewise, it is the responsibility of the client to, at all times, ensure that the exact number of occupants for which the reservation was made is complied with. Under no circumstances will the maximum number of persons reserved be exceeded; in this event the owner or manager will be permitted to take the appropriate measures (a supplementary charge or the vacation of the property).
12. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS
The act of participating in the product offered means the express acceptance on behalf of the client of each and every one of these General Conditions.
